I use this canner approximately twice a month. I bought it about 6 months ago and it is a wonderful product. It’s nice that there are no moving parts to replace. I don’t need to worry about the dial guage being calibrated. The canner comes with an EXCELLENT recipe book! The shrimp creole and beef stroganoff are absolutely delicious and easy to make. My husband was really impressed.

If you are like me and is considering purchasing this product so you don’t boil water in any sort of plastic container, then beware:

Though this kettle is entirely stainless steel on the inside as well as the outside, there are two little holes on the inside, near the handle, where the water goes through for the water indicator. Unfortunately, these two holes are insulated (waterproofed) with some sort of rubber/soft plastic substance, and the water indicator itself is made out of plastic rather than glass.

Besides that, this kettle does its job very well and I think most of the other reviews already pointed out the goodness and flaws of it.

Made of heavyweight polypropelene plastic, the kettle holds a maximum of 47 ounces (1.4 liters) and must be filled to a minimum of 15 fluid ounces (.45 liters)–just enough to cover the heating element–to operate. The cordless kettle locks into a small plastic electric base containing a thick-film heating element. The base takes up little counter space and allows the kettle to swivel in any direction for convenience. A floating red water level indicator on the outside of the Curl rises as water is added and shows how many cups of liquid it is holding.
