I read the reviews about the kettle not whistling but that doesn’t worry me a bit as I can boil H2O just fine without sound effects. I chose this kettle because of Cuisinart quality with a 100% corrosion proof stainless interior. The kettle does not disappoint and is cute to boot. I boil water for tea daily with no problems.
